WHEN
The relentless consequence of change 

Let’s be frank. I have lots of when’s. 

Before when, something is and then was. 

When is a point of departure.  

It marks time, space, a situation. 

A place in my life. 

When is a decision I make.

A moment and an action. 

Perhaps when is an escape too. 

A change from one thing to the next. 

There is always a consequence of when. 

When we think about it, we understand.
