You might find the answer to the question of: WHY – do you want to be well?  quite simple. You just don’t want to feel like you do any longer.

Let’s face it, we can all improve.

And guess what – we all know exactly what we have to do.

The truth hurts, but if we own it and take responsibility we can see the good in what needs to be done and take that as motivation, to take action.

We discussed a being-well audit last week  – a check in with yourself to know where you are and getting that “shark” or “hive” strategy in place to motivate and remind you that being well takes action.

Consistency pays the well-being bill. No question. Remember your health is really your wealth.

So where do you get your energy?

Is it in making others smile, spending time in nature, being creative or sleeping?

Or all of the above and many many more…

If living well is to find the source of your energy…

Tapping into that source can be very powerful.

Think about it – primary energy sources take many forms, including nuclear energy, fossil energy – like oil, coal and natural gas and renewable sources like wind, solar, water – all these things keep the lights on in the physical world.

Connecting to our energy source in how we live – keeps our own lights on.

So how do we do it and do it quickly?

We relax.

A simple tool to help is Earthing or otherwise called Grounding.

How you do it: take your shoes off and go and walk or lie down on the grass, the beach or even rocks. This therapeutic technique involves doing activities that “ground” or electrically reconnect you to the earth. The practice relies on earthing science and grounding physics. Electrical charges from the earth can have positive effects on your body and when done for 20 – 30 mins can have a profound effect on your mood and state of stress.

Knowing how to effectively and efficiently relax makes for better connection.

For doing things better, for improving ourselves and taking responsibility in sets us free. Take the time to switch off to switch back on.
